  25. Which version of Trumpet Winsock are you using?  I have a Presario
  26. with an internal Data/Fax/Voice modem and have never had a problem
  27. with my modem using any communications program, including Trumpet
  28. Winsock (version 2.0 Revision E).

  30. However, since I've upgraded to Windows 95 I'm using the built-in
  31. dial-up networking, again with no problems.  I doubt that it's a modem
  32. problem but maybe a configuration problem.  I know lots of people who
  33. have had trouble getting Trumpet Winsock to work properly on their
  34. computers.
